Darma’s Epic Nut Butter

Preparation Time: 5 mins | Cooking Time: 10 mins

Serves: 176 (15g)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of Almonds
  • ½ cup of Cashews
  • ½ cup of Pistachios
  • ½ cup of Peanuts
  • ¼ cup of Walnuts
  • ¼ cup of Brazil Nuts
  • ¼ cup of Pecans
  • ¼ cup of Macadamia Nuts
  • ¼ cup of Hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup of Flaxseeds
  • ¼ cup of Sunflower Seeds
  • ¼ cup of Chia Seeds
  • ¼ cup of Pumpkin Seeds
  • ¼ cup of Hemp Seeds
  • ¼ cup of Sesame Seeds

[Optional]

  • 40g of Chopped Dark Chocolate (85%)
  • 1 tbsp of Honey
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp of Sweetener (Stevia)
  • ¼ tsp of Salt

Instructions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a food processor.
  2. Alternate between pulsing and continuous blending, till the mixture is as smooth and buttery as you can get it.
  3. At this point, you can add any additional ingredients, such as oil to make it smoother and spreadable or honey and sweetener for taste or even dark chocolate, to make it chocolatey.
  4. Spoon the mixture into jars and seal tightly, keep it refrigerated.

That’s it, my homemade epic nut butter, full of flavour and a cartload of nutritional benefits.
